空空道人(ren)听如此说,思(si)忖半晌,将(jiang)《石头记》再检阅一遍,因见(jian)上面虽有(you)些指奸责佞贬恶诛(zhu)邪(xie)之语,亦非伤时(shi)骂世(shi)之旨,及至君(jun1)仁臣良(liang)父慈子孝,凡伦常所关之处(chu),皆是称(cheng)功(gong)颂德,眷(juan)眷无穷,实非别书(shu)之(zhi)可(ke)比.虽(sui)其(qi)中大旨(zhi)谈情,亦不过实录其(qi)事,又(you)非假(jia)拟(ni)妄称,一(yi)味淫邀艳约,私订(ding)偷盟(meng)之可比.因(yin)毫不(bu)干涉(she)时(shi)世,方从(cong)头至尾抄录(lu)回来,问世(shi)传奇.从此空空道(dao)人因空见(jian)色,由色生(sheng)情(qing),传情入色,自色悟空(kong),遂易名为情僧,改《石头记(ji)》为《情僧录(lu)》.东(dong)鲁孔梅(mei)溪则题曰(yue)《风(feng)月宝鉴(jian)》.后因曹雪芹于悼红(hong)轩中披阅十(shi)载,增删(shan)五次,纂成目录(lu),分出(chu)章(zhang)回,则题曰《金陵(ling)十二钗》.并题(ti)一绝云:
