空空道人(ren)听(ting)如此说,思(si)忖(cun)半晌(shang),将《石(shi)头(tou)记(ji)》再(zai)检阅(yue)一遍,因(yin)见上(shang)面虽有些指奸责佞贬恶诛邪(xie)之语(yu),亦非(fei)伤(shang)时骂世之旨,及(ji)至(zhi)君仁(ren)臣良父慈子孝,凡伦常所关之(zhi)处(chu),皆是(shi)称功颂(song)德(de),眷(juan)眷无(wu)穷,实非别(bie)书(shu)之可比.虽其(qi)中(zhong)大旨谈情,亦不(bu)过实录其事(shi),又非假拟妄称(cheng),一(yi)味淫(yin)邀艳约,私订偷(tou)盟之可比.因毫不干(gan)涉(she)时世,方从头至(zhi)尾抄录回来,问世传奇.从此空空(kong)道人因空(kong)见色,由色生(sheng)情,传情入色,自色悟空(kong),遂易名(ming)为情僧,改(gai)《石头记》为《情(qing)僧录》.东鲁孔(kong)梅溪则(ze)题曰《风月宝鉴》.后因曹雪芹(qin)于(yu)悼红轩中披阅十(shi)载,增删五(wu)次,纂成(cheng)目(mu)录(lu),分出章(zhang)回,则(ze)题(ti)曰《金陵十(shi)二钗》.并(bing)题一绝云:
