"大哉圣(sheng)人之(zhi)道!洋(yang)洋乎发育万物(wu),峻极于天。优优大哉!礼仪三百,威(wei)仪三千(qian),待其人然(ran)后(hou)行。故曰(yue):苟不至(zhi)德,至道(dao)不(bu)凝焉。故君(jun1)子尊德性而道问学,致广大(da)而尽精(jing)微(wei),极高明而道中(zhong)庸(yong);温(wen)故(gu)而知新,敦厚以崇礼。是故居上不(bu)骄,为下(xia)不倍;国(guo)有道,其言足(zu)以兴;国无道(dao),其默足以容。《诗》曰:''既明且哲,以保(bao)其身。''其(qi)此之谓(wei)与!"子(zi)曰:"愚(yu)而好自用,贱而(er)好自专;生乎今之世,反古之道。如此者,及其身者也。"非天(tian)子,不议礼(li),不制度(du),不考文。今天下车同(tong)轨,书同文,行同(tong)伦。虽有其(qi)位(wei),苟(gou)无其德,不(bu)敢(gan)作礼乐(le)焉;虽(sui)有(you)其(qi)德,苟无其(qi)位,亦不(bu)敢作(zuo)礼乐焉。
