"大(da)哉(zai)圣人之道!洋洋乎发育万物,峻极于天(tian)。优(you)优大哉(zai)!礼仪(yi)三百,威仪三千(qian),待其人然后行(hang)。故(gu)曰:苟不至德,至(zhi)道(dao)不凝焉。故君子(zi)尊德性而道(dao)问学(xue),致广大而尽精微(wei),极高明而道(dao)中庸(yong);温故(gu)而(er)知新(xin),敦(dun)厚(hou)以崇礼。是故居(ju)上(shang)不骄,为(wei)下不倍;国有道,其言足以兴(xing);国无道(dao),其(qi)默(mo)足以容(rong)。《诗(shi)》曰:''既(ji)明且哲,以保其身。''其(qi)此(ci)之(zhi)谓与!"子曰(yue):"愚(yu)而好自用(yong),贱而好自专;生乎今之世,反(fan)古(gu)之道。如(ru)此者,及其身者也。"非天(tian)子,不议礼,不制(zhi)度(du),不考文。今(jin)天(tian)下(xia)车同轨,书同文,行同伦。虽有其(qi)位,苟无其德(de),不敢作礼(li)乐焉;虽有其(qi)德,苟(gou)无(wu)其位,亦不敢(gan)作礼乐(le)焉(yan)。
