"大哉圣人(ren)之道!洋洋乎发育(yu)万物,峻极(ji)于(yu)天。优优大哉!礼(li)仪三百,威(wei)仪三(san)千,待其人然后(hou)行。故曰:苟不至德,至(zhi)道不凝(ning)焉。故君子尊德性而道问学,致广(guang)大而尽精微,极高明而道中(zhong)庸;温(wen)故而知新,敦厚以崇礼。是故居(ju)上(shang)不骄,为下不倍(bei);国有道,其(qi)言足以兴(xing);国无(wu)道,其(qi)默足以容。《诗》曰:''既明且哲,以保(bao)其(qi)身(shen)。''其(qi)此(ci)之(zhi)谓(wei)与!"子曰:"愚(yu)而好自用,贱(jian)而好自专;生乎今之世(shi),反古之道。如(ru)此者,及其身者也。"非天子,不议礼,不制度,不考(kao)文。今(jin)天下车(che)同(tong)轨,书同文(wen),行同(tong)伦。虽有(you)其位,苟(gou)无其(qi)德,不敢(gan)作(zuo)礼乐焉;虽有(you)其(qi)德,苟(gou)无(wu)其位,亦不(bu)敢(gan)作礼乐(le)焉。
