"大哉圣人之道!洋洋乎发育万(wan)物,峻极(ji)于(yu)天。优优(you)大(da)哉!礼仪三(san)百,威仪三(san)千(qian),待(dai)其人然(ran)后(hou)行。故曰(yue):苟不至(zhi)德(de),至道(dao)不凝焉。故君子(zi)尊德性(xing)而道问学,致广大而尽精微(wei),极高明而道(dao)中庸;温故而知新(xin),敦厚(hou)以崇礼(li)。是(shi)故居上(shang)不骄,为下不倍;国(guo)有道(dao),其言足以兴;国无(wu)道(dao),其默(mo)足以容。《诗》曰:''既明且哲,以(yi)保(bao)其身。''其此之谓与!"子曰(yue):"愚而好自用(yong),贱而(er)好自专(zhuan);生乎今之世,反古(gu)之道。如(ru)此(ci)者,及(ji)其身(shen)者也。"非天子,不(bu)议礼,不制度,不考文(wen)。今(jin)天下车同轨,书同文(wen),行同(tong)伦(lun)。虽(sui)有其位(wei),苟无(wu)其(qi)德,不敢作礼乐焉;虽有其德,苟(gou)无其位(wei),亦不敢(gan)作礼乐焉。
