"大哉圣人(ren)之道!洋洋(yang)乎发育万物,峻(jun4)极于(yu)天(tian)。优(you)优大(da)哉!礼仪三(san)百(bai),威(wei)仪三(san)千(qian),待其人(ren)然后(hou)行。故(gu)曰:苟不至德,至道不凝焉。故君(jun1)子尊(zun)德(de)性而道问学,致(zhi)广(guang)大而尽精微,极(ji)高明(ming)而道中庸;温(wen)故而知新,敦厚以(yi)崇(chong)礼。是(shi)故居上不骄,为(wei)下不倍;国(guo)有(you)道,其言(yan)足以兴(xing);国无道,其默足以容。《诗》曰:''既(ji)明(ming)且哲,以保(bao)其身。''其(qi)此之谓与!"子曰(yue):"愚而(er)好自用(yong),贱而(er)好自专;生乎今之(zhi)世,反(fan)古之(zhi)道(dao)。如此(ci)者,及(ji)其(qi)身者也。"非天子,不议礼,不制度,不(bu)考(kao)文。今(jin)天下车同轨,书同文,行(hang)同(tong)伦。虽有其位(wei),苟无(wu)其德,不敢作礼乐焉;虽有其德,苟无其位(wei),亦不敢作礼乐焉。
