"大哉圣人之道!洋洋(yang)乎发育万物,峻极(ji)于(yu)天(tian)。优优(you)大哉!礼仪(yi)三百,威仪三千,待其人然后行。故曰:苟不至德(de),至道不(bu)凝焉。故君子(zi)尊德性(xing)而道(dao)问学,致(zhi)广(guang)大(da)而尽精微,极(ji)高明而道(dao)中庸(yong);温故而知(zhi)新,敦厚以崇礼。是故居上不骄(jiao),为(wei)下不倍;国有(you)道,其言(yan)足以兴;国无道,其默足(zu)以容(rong)。《诗》曰:''既明且哲(zhe),以保(bao)其身。''其此之(zhi)谓与!"子曰(yue):"愚而好自用,贱而好自专;生(sheng)乎今之世,反古之道(dao)。如此者,及其(qi)身(shen)者也。"非天子,不(bu)议礼(li),不制度(du),不考文。今(jin)天下(xia)车同轨,书(shu)同(tong)文(wen),行同(tong)伦(lun)。虽有(you)其位,苟无(wu)其(qi)德,不(bu)敢(gan)作礼乐焉(yan);虽有其德,苟(gou)无其(qi)位,亦(yi)不敢(gan)作礼乐(le)焉。
