空(kong)空道人听如此(ci)说(shuo),思忖半晌,将(jiang)《石头(tou)记》再检阅一遍,因见上面虽有(you)些指奸责佞贬恶(e)诛邪之(zhi)语,亦非(fei)伤(shang)时骂世之旨,及至(zhi)君仁臣(chen)良父慈子孝,凡伦常所关(guan)之(zhi)处,皆是(shi)称(cheng)功颂德,眷眷(juan)无穷(qiong),实非(fei)别书之可比.虽(sui)其中(zhong)大旨(zhi)谈情(qing),亦不过实录其事,又非假(jia)拟妄称(cheng),一味淫(yin)邀艳约(yue),私(si)订偷盟(meng)之可比(bi).因毫不(bu)干(gan)涉时世,方从(cong)头至尾抄录回来,问世(shi)传奇.从此空空(kong)道人因空见色(se),由色生情,传(chuan)情入(ru)色,自(zi)色悟空,遂易名为情(qing)僧,改《石头记》为(wei)《情僧录》.东鲁(lu)孔梅溪(xi)则题曰《风(feng)月宝(bao)鉴》.后因曹雪芹于悼红轩中(zhong)披(pi)阅十(shi)载,增删(shan)五次(ci),纂成目(mu)录(lu),分(fen)出章回,则题曰《金陵(ling)十二(er)钗(chai)》.并题一绝云(yun):
