空空道人(ren)听如此说,思忖半晌,将《石头记》再检阅一遍,因见(jian)上面(mian)虽(sui)有些指奸责佞贬(bian)恶诛(zhu)邪(xie)之语,亦非伤(shang)时骂世之旨(zhi),及至(zhi)君(jun1)仁臣良父慈(ci)子孝(xiao),凡伦常(chang)所(suo)关之处,皆(jie)是称功颂德,眷(juan)眷无穷,实非别书之可比.虽其中(zhong)大(da)旨谈情,亦不过实录其事(shi),又非(fei)假拟妄称,一味(wei)淫(yin)邀艳约(yue),私订偷盟之(zhi)可比(bi).因(yin)毫(hao)不(bu)干涉时世(shi),方从头至尾抄录回来,问世传奇(qi).从此(ci)空(kong)空道人因(yin)空见色,由色生(sheng)情,传情入(ru)色,自色悟空,遂易名为情僧(seng),改《石头(tou)记》为《情(qing)僧(seng)录(lu)》.东(dong)鲁孔梅(mei)溪则(ze)题曰《风月宝鉴》.后(hou)因曹雪芹(qin)于悼(dao)红(hong)轩(xuan)中披阅(yue)十(shi)载,增(zeng)删五次,纂(zuan)成(cheng)目录,分出(chu)章(zhang)回,则题(ti)曰《金(jin)陵(ling)十二钗》.并题一绝云(yun):
