空空道(dao)人(ren)听如此说(shuo),思忖半晌(shang),将《石(shi)头记》再(zai)检(jian)阅一(yi)遍,因见上面虽(sui)有些指奸责(ze)佞贬恶(e)诛邪之(zhi)语,亦非伤(shang)时骂世之(zhi)旨,及至君仁(ren)臣良(liang)父慈子孝,凡伦常所关之(zhi)处,皆是称功颂德,眷眷无穷(qiong),实非别书之可比.虽其(qi)中(zhong)大旨(zhi)谈情(qing),亦不(bu)过实录其事,又(you)非假拟妄称,一味淫邀艳约,私订偷盟(meng)之可比.因毫不(bu)干涉时世,方从头(tou)至(zhi)尾(wei)抄录回来(lai),问世传奇.从(cong)此空(kong)空道人(ren)因(yin)空见色(se),由色生情,传情入色(se),自色悟(wu)空,遂易(yi)名为情(qing)僧,改《石头记(ji)》为《情僧录》.东(dong)鲁孔梅(mei)溪则(ze)题曰《风月宝鉴》.后(hou)因(yin)曹雪芹(qin)于(yu)悼红(hong)轩中披(pi)阅十载,增删五次,纂成目录(lu),分出章回,则题曰(yue)《金陵十二钗》.并(bing)题一绝(jue)云:
