"大哉圣人之道(dao)!洋洋乎发育万物(wu),峻(jun4)极(ji)于(yu)天。优(you)优大(da)哉!礼仪三百,威仪三千(qian),待其人然(ran)后(hou)行。故曰:苟不至德(de),至道不凝焉。故君子尊德性(xing)而道问(wen)学,致广(guang)大而尽精微,极(ji)高(gao)明而道中(zhong)庸;温故(gu)而知新,敦厚(hou)以崇(chong)礼。是故(gu)居上不骄,为(wei)下不倍;国有道,其言足以兴(xing);国(guo)无道,其(qi)默足以容。《诗(shi)》曰(yue):''既(ji)明且哲(zhe),以保其(qi)身。''其此(ci)之(zhi)谓与!"子曰:"愚而好(hao)自用(yong),贱(jian)而好自专;生乎今(jin)之世,反古之(zhi)道。如此者,及其(qi)身者也。"非天子,不议礼(li),不制度(du),不考文(wen)。今天(tian)下车同轨,书同文,行(hang)同(tong)伦(lun)。虽有其(qi)位,苟无其德,不敢作礼乐焉(yan);虽有其德,苟(gou)无(wu)其(qi)位(wei),亦不敢作礼(li)乐(le)焉(yan)。
