生财有(you)大道(dao)。生之者众(zhong),食之者寡,为之(zhi)者疾(ji),用之者舒(shu),则财恒(heng)足矣。仁(ren)者(zhe)以财发身,不(bu)仁(ren)者以身发财。未(wei)有(you)上好仁(ren)而(er)下不(bu)好义者也,未有(you)好义其事不终者也(ye),未(wei)有府库财(cai)非(fei)其财者也。孟献子曰(yue):"畜(chu)马乘,不察于鸡(ji)豚(tun);伐冰之家,不畜牛羊;百(bai)乘(cheng)之家,不畜(chu)聚敛之臣。与(yu)其有聚敛之(zhi)臣(chen),宁(ning)有盗臣。"此谓国不以利为利(li),以义为(wei)利也。长国(guo)家而务财用者,必自(zi)小(xiao)人矣。彼为善之,小人之(zhi)使(shi)为国家,灾害并至;虽有善者(zhe),亦无(wu)如(ru)之何矣!此谓国不(bu)以利为利,以义(yi)为利(li)也。
