"大哉圣人之(zhi)道!洋洋乎发育(yu)万物,峻极于天。优优(you)大哉!礼仪三百,威仪三千(qian),待(dai)其(qi)人然后行。故曰:苟不至德,至(zhi)道(dao)不凝焉(yan)。故君(jun1)子尊德(de)性而(er)道问(wen)学,致广(guang)大而尽(jin)精微,极高明(ming)而道中庸(yong);温故而知(zhi)新,敦厚(hou)以(yi)崇(chong)礼。是故(gu)居上不(bu)骄,为下不倍(bei);国有道,其言足以兴(xing);国无(wu)道(dao),其(qi)默足(zu)以容。《诗》曰:''既(ji)明且哲(zhe),以保其身。''其此之谓与!"子曰:"愚而好自用,贱而好自专(zhuan);生(sheng)乎今之(zhi)世,反古(gu)之道。如此者,及其身者也。"非天(tian)子,不议礼,不制(zhi)度,不考文。今(jin)天下(xia)车(che)同(tong)轨,书同文(wen),行同(tong)伦。虽有其位,苟(gou)无其德,不(bu)敢(gan)作礼乐焉;虽有其德,苟无(wu)其(qi)位,亦不敢作(zuo)礼乐(le)焉(yan)。
