夫(fu)祭之为物(wu)大矣,其(qi)兴物备矣,顺(shun)以备者(zhe)也,其(qi)教之(zhi)本与?是故(gu),君子之(zhi)教(jiao) 也,外则教之(zhi)以(yi)尊(zun)其(qi)君长,内则教(jiao)之以孝(xiao)于其亲。是故,明君在上,则诸臣服从, 崇事(shi)宗(zong)庙(miao)社稷,则子孙顺孝。尽(jin)其道,端其(qi)义,而教生(sheng)焉。是故君子(zi)之事君也, 必身行之,所不安(an)于上(shang),则(ze)不以(yi)使下;所恶于下,则不以(yi)事(shi)上(shang);非诸(zhu)人,行诸己, 非教之道(dao)也。是故(gu)君(jun1)子之教也,必由其(qi)本,顺之至也,祭其是与(yu)?故曰(yue):"祭(ji)者, 孝(xiao)之本(ben)也已(yi)。"
