"大哉(zai)圣人之(zhi)道!洋洋乎发育(yu)万物,峻极(ji)于(yu)天。优(you)优大哉!礼仪三(san)百(bai),威(wei)仪三千,待其人然后(hou)行。故曰:苟不至(zhi)德,至道(dao)不(bu)凝焉。故(gu)君子尊德性而(er)道问学,致(zhi)广大而(er)尽(jin)精微,极高明而道中(zhong)庸(yong);温故(gu)而知新,敦(dun)厚(hou)以崇礼。是故居上不骄,为(wei)下(xia)不倍;国有道(dao),其言足以兴;国(guo)无道,其默(mo)足以容(rong)。《诗》曰:''既明且哲,以保(bao)其身。''其(qi)此之谓与!"子曰:"愚而(er)好自用,贱而好自专(zhuan);生乎(hu)今之(zhi)世(shi),反古之(zhi)道。如此者,及其(qi)身者也(ye)。"非天子(zi),不(bu)议礼,不制度(du),不考文。今天(tian)下车同(tong)轨,书同文(wen),行同(tong)伦。虽有其位,苟无其德,不敢(gan)作礼乐(le)焉(yan);虽有其德,苟(gou)无其(qi)位,亦不(bu)敢(gan)作礼乐焉(yan)。
