空空道(dao)人(ren)听如此说,思忖(cun)半晌,将《石头记》再检阅一遍(bian),因见(jian)上面虽(sui)有些指(zhi)奸责佞贬恶诛邪(xie)之语,亦非伤(shang)时(shi)骂(ma)世(shi)之旨,及至君(jun1)仁(ren)臣良(liang)父慈子(zi)孝,凡伦常所关(guan)之处(chu),皆是(shi)称(cheng)功(gong)颂(song)德,眷(juan)眷无穷,实(shi)非(fei)别书之可比(bi).虽其中大旨(zhi)谈情,亦不(bu)过(guo)实录其事,又非假拟(ni)妄称,一味淫邀艳约,私(si)订偷盟之可比.因毫不干(gan)涉时世,方从头至尾抄录回来,问世传奇.从此空空道人因(yin)空(kong)见(jian)色(se),由色生(sheng)情(qing),传情入色(se),自色(se)悟空(kong),遂易名(ming)为情僧,改《石头记》为(wei)《情僧录(lu)》.东(dong)鲁孔梅溪则(ze)题(ti)曰《风月宝鉴》.后(hou)因曹雪芹于悼红轩(xuan)中披阅十(shi)载,增删五次,纂成目录,分出章回,则题曰《金陵十(shi)二钗》.并题一绝(jue)云:
