"大哉圣(sheng)人之(zhi)道!洋洋(yang)乎(hu)发育万物,峻极(ji)于天。优优大哉!礼仪三百,威仪三千(qian),待(dai)其人(ren)然(ran)后(hou)行。故曰:苟不至(zhi)德,至(zhi)道不凝焉。故君子尊德性而(er)道问(wen)学(xue),致广大而尽(jin)精微,极(ji)高明(ming)而道(dao)中(zhong)庸;温(wen)故(gu)而知新,敦厚以崇礼(li)。是故(gu)居上不骄,为下不(bu)倍;国有道,其言足以兴;国无道(dao),其默(mo)足以(yi)容。《诗》曰:''既(ji)明且(qie)哲,以保(bao)其身。''其此之谓与!"子曰:"愚而(er)好自(zi)用,贱(jian)而好自(zi)专(zhuan);生乎今(jin)之世,反古之(zhi)道。如此者(zhe),及其身者也(ye)。"非天子,不议(yi)礼,不制度(du),不(bu)考文(wen)。今天(tian)下车同(tong)轨(gui),书同文,行(hang)同(tong)伦。虽有其位,苟无其德(de),不敢作礼乐(le)焉(yan);虽有其(qi)德(de),苟无(wu)其位(wei),亦不敢作礼乐焉。
