夫(fu)祭之(zhi)为物大(da)矣,其兴物(wu)备矣,顺以(yi)备者也,其教(jiao)之本与?是故(gu),君(jun1)子之(zhi)教 也,外则教之以尊其(qi)君长,内则教之以(yi)孝于其亲(qin)。是(shi)故,明君(jun1)在上,则诸(zhu)臣服从, 崇事(shi)宗庙社稷,则(ze)子(zi)孙顺孝。尽其道,端其义,而(er)教(jiao)生焉(yan)。是故(gu)君子之事(shi)君也, 必(bi)身行之,所不安于上,则(ze)不以使下;所恶于下,则不(bu)以事上;非诸人,行诸己, 非教之道(dao)也。是故君子(zi)之(zhi)教(jiao)也(ye),必由其(qi)本,顺(shun)之(zhi)至也,祭其是(shi)与?故曰(yue):"祭者, 孝之(zhi)本也已。"
