"大(da)哉(zai)圣人之道(dao)!洋洋(yang)乎发育(yu)万物,峻极于(yu)天。优(you)优大哉!礼仪三百,威仪(yi)三千(qian),待其人(ren)然后(hou)行。故(gu)曰(yue):苟不至德,至道不(bu)凝焉。故君子尊(zun)德(de)性(xing)而道问学,致广大而(er)尽(jin)精(jing)微,极(ji)高明而道中庸(yong);温故而(er)知新,敦厚以崇礼。是故(gu)居上(shang)不骄,为下不倍(bei);国(guo)有道,其言足(zu)以兴;国无(wu)道,其默足以容。《诗》曰:''既(ji)明且哲,以保其身。''其(qi)此之谓与!"子(zi)曰:"愚而(er)好自用,贱而好自专;生(sheng)乎今(jin)之(zhi)世,反古(gu)之道。如此者,及(ji)其(qi)身者(zhe)也。"非(fei)天(tian)子,不议礼,不(bu)制度(du),不考文(wen)。今天下(xia)车同(tong)轨,书同(tong)文,行同(tong)伦。虽有其位,苟(gou)无其(qi)德,不敢作礼乐焉(yan);虽有其德,苟无其位,亦不敢作(zuo)礼乐焉。
