"大哉(zai)圣人之道!洋洋乎发育万物,峻极于天。优优(you)大哉!礼(li)仪三(san)百,威仪三千(qian),待其人然后(hou)行。故(gu)曰:苟(gou)不至德,至(zhi)道(dao)不凝焉。故(gu)君子尊德(de)性而道问学(xue),致广(guang)大而尽精微,极高明(ming)而道中(zhong)庸;温故而知新,敦厚以崇(chong)礼。是故(gu)居上不骄,为下不倍(bei);国有道(dao),其言足以兴;国(guo)无道,其默足以容。《诗(shi)》曰:''既(ji)明且哲,以保(bao)其身。''其此之(zhi)谓与(yu)!"子曰:"愚(yu)而好(hao)自用,贱而好自(zi)专(zhuan);生(sheng)乎今之(zhi)世,反(fan)古之道。如(ru)此(ci)者,及(ji)其身者(zhe)也。"非(fei)天子,不议(yi)礼,不制度,不考文。今天(tian)下车同(tong)轨(gui),书同文(wen),行同(tong)伦。虽(sui)有其(qi)位,苟无其(qi)德,不敢作礼乐(le)焉;虽有其(qi)德,苟(gou)无(wu)其位,亦不敢(gan)作礼乐焉。
